Community Fridge

Let's reduce food waste together
Think about all the good food that gets wasted by local supermarkets and suppliers – that’s what inspired some local people to develop a Community Fridge, where good food is freely available to be used in the community to help tackle climate challenges.
Often mistaken as a Food Bank, the Community Fridge is open to anyone regardless of their financial circumstances, no referrals are needed and it can be visited as often as you like.

Stocked up
The Community Fridges also stock a range of cupboard staples of tinned and dried goods, which can be purchased for 20p an item, to a maximum spend of £2.00 on 10 individual products.
The Community Fridges also give access to free sanitary products and contraceptives, as well a variety of free donated goods to stop them going to waste. If you would like any more information about the Community Fridges please contact Fiona Kerr on 07341551755 or Fiona@letham4all.org.uk
