Residents in Letham will soon have regular access to face-to-face financial advice and support, thanks to a new partnership between Letham4All and Scotwest Credit Union.
Starting on Friday 24 July, Scotwest will hold fortnightly drop-in sessions at The Hub on Amulree Road, giving local people the chance to speak directly with a member of the Scotwest team about saving, borrowing, online banking and managing their finances.
The sessions will run from 10am to 12 noon and are open to everyone. No appointment is required.
Scotwest Credit Union works with individuals and families across Scotland, helping people build savings, access affordable loans and improve their financial wellbeing. The organisation is keen to make its services more accessible by bringing support directly into local communities.
Visitors can drop in for an informal chat, whether they are already members of Scotwest or simply want to learn more about the services available.
Topics that can be discussed include:
- Opening a savings account
- Applying for loans
- Managing money more confidently
- Setting up online banking
The regular sessions have been arranged following discussions between Letham4All and Scotwest, with both organisations recognising the value of having a consistent and accessible financial support service available within the community.
